The XRcon 2022 took place at the end of November. It was great to see so many of you joining us live on the Demodern platform.
The whole day was well timed with interesting talks, Q & As and networking.

Jan Beutgen Technical Director at Demodern. He talked about “User Experience in Corporate Metaverse – Mobile meets VR & AR”.
Sean Keogh and Daniel Schäfer Partner and Founder at headroom focused on “The Switch from 2D to 3D remote working environments”.
In the Tech and Research track we had presentations from Prof. Dr.-Ing. Benjamin Weyers, he is currently Assistant Professor at University of Trier and Head of the Human-Computer Interaction Group. He talked about “Virtual Reality in Everyday Working Environments and Scenarios”
Veronika Krauß Research Fellow and PhD Candidate, was talking about Dark Patterns which are malevolent design solutions that manipulate a user to perform unintended actions.
Prof. Gerd Bruder from the Institute for Simulation & Training University of Central Florida, took a look at embodied IVAs in AR.
Last but not least Jonas Rothe, founder and CEO of TimeRide GmbH talked about “Time Traveling! – How Virtual Reality helps us to travel into the past!”
