DESCRIPTION:Was siehst du wenn du die Augen schließt?\nist das erste Residenzprojekt bei dem die über einen Open Call ausgewählten Künstlerinnen Farina Hamann und Julie Hart mit den Kollektivmitgliedern Lenn Blaschke und Leon Galli einen Monat in Zeitz leben und arbeiten werden. Die Arbeitsergebnisse werden dort anschließend bis Ende Mai zu sehen sein. \nOrt: ›Nudel‹\, Paul-Roland-Straße 7\, 06712 Zeitz\nVernissage: 28.03.2020\, 18:00 Uhr\nFinnissage: 29.05.2020\, 18:00 Uhr\nJeden Sonntag zwischen 05.04. – 24.05.2020\, 12:00 – 16:00 Uhr geöffnet \nMehr Infos: www.thisisfake.team \nDas Residenz- und Ausstellungsprojekt Artificial Communities ist die Initiative des Medienkunstkollektvs THIS IS FAKE. \nRemineszenz\nDigitaltechnologie bedeutet nicht per se Fortschritt und Zukunft. Im Fahrwasser eines neuen Technologiehypes entgrenzt sich die Welt nochmal neu. Hoffnung macht sich nicht nur in der Wirtschaft breit\, sondern auch eine vielzahl junger Künstler*innen springen auf den Hypetrain Virtual Reality (VR) auf. Mit den Head-Mounted Displays (HMDs) oder zu dt. Datenbrillen tauchen wir in neue Welten ein und versuchen uns im Post-Digitalen oder Post-Realen; wollen Teil der computergenerierten Welt werden. \nMit dem Begriff „Remineszenz“ wollen wir das Medium VR im Spannungsfeld zwischen virtueller\, computergenerierter Realität und der hiesigen REALITÄT untersuchen. Als Denkanstöße können Räume\, Orte\, Personen\, Geschichten oder technische Aspekte dienen und beobachtet werden. Welche VR-spezifischen Aspekte lassen sich nutzen um Momente der Digitaltechnologie in einer Rechnerallgegenwart zu reflektieren? \nZum Ort\nWir als Kollektiv möchten in Zusammenarbeit mit den Eigentümern der alten Nudelfabrik in Zeitz Künstler_innen zwei Residencies und eine Ausstellungsmöglichkeit ermöglichen. Neben verschiedenen Kunst- & Kultur-Kooperativen ist\, nicht weit weg von Leipzig\, Zeitz eine Alternative zum Wohnen und Arbeiten geworden. Recherchiert man zu Zeitz wird ein Bruch in der Geschichte klar: Zeitz ist ein Wendeverlierer. Seit einigen Jahren engagieren sich verschiedene Aktuere aus Kunst\, Kultur und Wirtschaft den Ort wieder zu beleben. \nDie „Nudel“ ist ein Ort für Kunstschaffende und Berufstätige. Im unteren Gebäudeteil befindet sich ein Coworking-Space und es gibt mehrere Ateliers freischaffender Künstler_innen\, sowie Schlafmöglichkeiten im Gebäude.
